This section addresses common problems encountered with web-based licenses.

3.2.1. Cannot Connect to License Server

If you’re unable to connect to the license server:

  1. Check internet connectivity

  2. Verify firewall settings allow outbound connections to itascalicenses.com

  3. Confirm proxy settings if behind corporate firewall

  4. Test with the connection diagnostic tool (see Initial license connection test interface)

3.2.2. Invalid Credentials Error

When receiving authentication errors:

  1. Verify email and password at https://itascalicenses.com

  2. Ensure your account is associated with the organization’s license

  3. Contact your license administrator to verify user permissions

3.2.3. License Expired or Invalid

If your license appears expired or invalid:

  1. Check license expiration date with your administrator

  2. Verify maintenance agreement is current

  3. Contact Itasca support with your license number
