mpoint.node.stress

Syntax

t = mpoint.node.stress(vp)

Get the interpolated stress. Stresses are defined at mpoints. Weights are computed for the given position, stresses are accumulated from mpoints to each node with a non-zero weight, and the weighted average of the stresses are summed to compute the interpolated stresses.

Returns:

t - stress tensor
