structure beam export command

Syntax

structure beam export keyword <range>

Primary keywords:

filename    position    displacement    velocity    acceleration    force    location-index    group    slot

Exports data from beam elements to csv file. This command controls if and what values are included in the exported file. The values being exported by default are positions, forces, groups, and displacements.

filename s

Specify the output filename s.

position b

Includes the position of structure elements

displacement b

Includes the displacement vector at the centroid f structure elements

velocity b

Includes the velocity vector at the centroid f structure elements

acceleration b

Includes the acceleration vector at the centroid f structure elements

force b

Includes the forces and the moments at the centroid of structure elements

location-index i

Indicates where the forces are computed: i = 0 corresponds to the element centroid, while i = 1 to 2 indicates the positions of the nodes with those local indices.

group b

Includes the group assignments to elements in the slot defined by keyword Slot

slot s

Specifies the slot s in which the group name is exported. If not specified, slot Default is used.
