model plastic-strain command

Syntax

model plastic-strain b

Sets the program to calculate accumulated plastic strain tensor for constitutive models that include the property name plastic-strain. This command must be explicitly specified as either on or off to enable calculations. The default setting is off.

There are different ways to visualize the results: (a) a contour plot of one of the components of the plastic strain tensor can be plotted using the property contour; (b) the plastic strain tensor can be visualized as a user-defined tensor by writing a small FISH function, for example, copying the plastic strain tensor into user-defined tensors at the zone centroids.
