struct.pile.normal.stress

Syntax

f := struct.pile.normal.stress(p,iend)

Get the stress in the coupling normal spring at end iend ∈ {1, 2} of the pile element. Sign convention for the normal spring is positive/negative, indicating separation/overlap.

Returns:

f - normal coupling spring stress of the element

Arguments:

p - pointer to a pile element

iend - end number of the pile element, iend ∈ {1, 2}
